"Absolutely visible, beautiful. The gym looked good, but I was there to run a marathon, so I did all my exercising outdoors."

"Rooms were clean, beds were ok, bathroom shower took FOREVER to walm up. Door of bathroom is a sliding door which wasn’t great, the door kept coming off the rail. Breakfast also just ok, not well stocked through the morning, pretty boring and tasteless sadly. Old hotel I think they are trying to upkeep but renovations. Parking garage is an absolute nightmare to navigate. We will not stay here again."

"Perfect for location. Right next to beach. Very loud and kinda sketchy ppl hang around. Maintenance ppl just opened room on two different occasion’s and so felt privacy violated but other than that it’s a basic hotel to sleep for the night. Not too bad for the price. "

"Overall, it was a great experience. Can’t beat a nice hotel directly on the beach. We had a minor blip, one of the hand towels had fresh mascara on it. The front desk staff quickly got us new ones plus additional towels. Rest of the room was spotless and the view from the 19th floor was absolutely breathtaking! We were able to check into our room two hours early and the front desk staff helped us roll into another nights stay while keeping the same room! Huge thank you to her. We appreciated it! This is a big weekend for Virginia Beach with the Shamrock Half and full marathons. I’m sure staff were working quickly to accommodate everyone. Valet - so easy and professional! The pool was nice! The rooftop bar, outside pool and hot tub were closed (out of season). Indoor one was nice, warm and relaxing! The restaurant attached to the hotel is also very nice. Staff were friendly in both places. We did learn a lesson. If you book another night, do so directly with the hotel front desk staff. We were told to do it online but the online rooms from the hotel website redirects you to a 3rd party w/o telling you then charges additional hidden fees, again without telling you - $140 worth. We got our money back at the hotel rate. It looks like you are booking through the Hilton website when in fact, you are not. They apparently do this to try to quickly sell off unbooked rooms. Race weekend prices are highly inflated $750 vs $180. Book early. We are looking forward to another visit! "

"Room was clean and comfortable Was booked into a handicap accessible room (not requested) which had no chair or sofa in the room. Was informed that was standard which I found to be unusual. Staff was friendly most especially the valet who made great restaurant recommendations. Thanks "

"Outstanding overnight landing pad for our family, and I would love to come back and stay longer. The layout of the rooms is perfect for families, with a quiet room for sleeping and a front room with a queen sleeper sofa facing the ocean for early or late risers. Having the bathroom and kitchenette between rooms minimized disruption. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and the free self-parking and breakfast made this hotel a great beachfront value in the middle of the best area to jog, eat, or hang out on the beach. Having the 24 hour gym in the lobby in a glass enclosure is great for solo female travelers and makes it a light an airy space, with an easy sight line to the lobby and over to the pool and hot tub. The breakfast buffet is standard, but exceptionally friendly staff kept the area sparking, moving families in and out smoothly. Cappucino and hot chocolate machine along with waffle makers were crowd pleasers. This is an exceptionally well-designed and well-managed hotel from our experience."
