"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, serving us with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, well laid out, light and airy. The bathroom area was an unusual design, with a sliding door sealing off separate shower and toilet areas. The location was ideal, being located on Place de Cataluna, amongst the shops, restaurants and bars. I would definitely choose to stay here again when next in Barcelona."

"Disappointed the bath tap was loose and the toilet didn't flush properly. Only one Jacuzzi working and the terrace bar was closed so you had to phone down to the main bar. Reception staff were ok, but had to ask twice for an ironing board and iron. The positives are the lovely exterior and size of the room. The location is fantastic for getting around, with a 10 minute walk to the train station/ metro from the airport, and TMB buses stopping a few metres ftom the hotel. Really enjoyed or time in the amazing City of Barcelona, just a shame a 4* hotel felt more like a good 2*."

"Lovely hotel in Barcelona and a great location distance-wise to all the attractions and beach. Great amenities in the hotel. Gym was fab. Rooftop pool and bar were a brilliant place to chill out after exploring all day. Great 360 view. Rooms bright, clean and modern although the cleaning could be haphazard. We had to ask for towels a couple of days as they had been taken and not replaced and not everything in the room got refilled every time but the cleaning was great every day. Reception staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and were helpful to speak to at any time of day or night which was lovely. However be aware that it’s not the nicest part of the city. There were a lot of homeless, drunks and others in the immediate vicinity and it didn’t feel comfortable to me or my teenagers being outside, this is compared with other neighbouring areas. A couple of guests reported jewellery being stolen from them in the street outside which is a shame for such a nice modern hotel."
