"The hotel seems to be in the middle of updating. The bath/shower was updated, and the room was clean. But, the window drapes had areas where the lining was missing and light came through. The hvac system worked well. When we went to our 2nd floor room around 4pm a painter was still painting the hallways and the paint smell filled the area. When the painter left he didn't clean chipped paint from the hall carpet. There was an building entry lock that didn't work(lock). There was a group of children, maybe late elementary age, who were on an a organization trip who went down the hallway knocking on doors. The 2 desk clerks we met were very professional and helpful for our stay and navigating the detours from the work on the interstate ramp. Breakfast was the standard continental buffet style."
