Double check if breakfast is included in the booking in hotels.com as the website offer two breakfast option with different price which is a bit confusing. If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife 」

「We stayed in an upscale room and was fabulous. This hotel is part museum and the antiques and style make it interesting, staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Courtyard pool was very nice. No elevator but would recommend the upper floor rooftop. 」
