"Location is good for a night's stay. I wouldn't stay much longer. We booked through Hotels.com and reserved a first floor room. We were assigned a second floor room when we arrived. There was no staff on site to speak to about the discrepancy. We were tired and it was the last night of a long trip, so we didn't call the number provided for any questions, so that's kind of on us. The grounds itself was nice enough, the building clean and pretty well maintained. There is no elevator, be aware of that. The room was small, but sufficient for a night. Full sized refrigerator, small cooktop, microwave. The room was clean, although housekeeping overlooked a small amount of food left in the refrigerator by the previous guests. No big deal, but........ The balcony on our second floor room had a broken section on the railing going around it, so we didn't spend much time out on the balcony. Overall, I'd give the place about a 6.5. Good for a quick night, but not much more."

"We had a wonderful stay. We were welcomed by a very kind and friendly couple who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The house is beautiful and has a very interesting history that made our stay even more special. Roland, the owner, personally gave us a tour of the property and shared fascinating stories about the house. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast room was warm, cozy, and inviting. We truly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay."
