Hotel was actually fine. However, we travelled with our young son,the room was directly above the pub, we could hear drunk patrons swearing and shouting in the early hours of the morning. Not that family friendly for that reason.

On Friday nights they have a band that goes until midnight that you can hear quite loudly. The walls are also quite thin so if people are in the hallway you can hear them. There was a family who let their children play in hallway until early hours. Was quite expensive for what it was and to get minimal sleep didn’t make a good experience

On arrival it was difficult to find staff, no response to phone as directed at front desk to call. Room was smelly, bedside lamps didn’t work. No hand soap at basin nor hair dryer (listing didn’t specify to be fair) but very rare not to have one, but my fault for not checking. On checkout I couldn’t find anyone to hand in my room swipe card. Great location and clean and complimentary bottled water. Air conditioner worked great .
