「Great hotel. Really enjoyed my stay. Location is excellent, right in the heart of Uluwatu but set back from the road so still peaceful. Staff were helpful and I would definitely visit again.」

「Firstly, upon arrival, there were no staff present to complete our check-in. We were left waiting to be addressed for 10 mins. In addition, we noticed a sign stating that there would be construction between 9am-5pm; it stated that the construction had no relation to Makara Villas. We came to find, it was in fact, the villa across from ours in the complex. This was unbeknownst to us as there was no mention of construction prior to making our booking. Next, we were guided to our Villa by Putra....

「No hair dryer in room, bugs in my bed on the floor pretty much everywhere, bathroom was incredibly dated and generally felt unclean the only positive is that the aircon was excellent that’s it.」

「The pool was enjoyable with a beautiful view. Our pool chair was covered the whole time we were at the hotel. We weren’t able to open the umbrella at all. When checking in they said they will come and open the umbrella for the sun and the pool chair cover at 0700am but never happened. The staff were really friendly. An issue we had was that we got a message saying our stay will have breakfast included, but when checking in they said no that message we received from Expedia was wrong. Which is...

「Not all units have a pool but I had a nice tub and didn't miss the pool at all. This beach was great for finding little sea shells. This resort is better suited to 1 or two night stays because it's very remote and it's not practical to come and go. I really enjoyed my time here.」

「I had an excellent week staying at Malik Toyo in Uluwatu. Danny and his staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for visiting surfers with the steps to the Uluwatu cave only a 3 minute walk and Padang Padang only a 5 minute scooter ride. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the local cliff tops. So many quality restaurants and bars just a short walk in either direction.
