"My room 211 had an on and off sewage smell my whole stay. We also saw a roach during our second night. I tried to switch rooms but the front wasn’t super accommodating at first. They first said it’s too late in the night to switch and to try the next day, then they said it’s fine and showed me another room. By then we were already tired and just dealt with it the rest of the stay but we couldn’t wait to check out. Rooms are outdated and location isn’t near any sites. Stay near Ubud or Canggu to save you an hour commute to your activities. Staff overall was friendly and we did enjoy the restaurant hence 2 stars vs 1."

"Only stayed one night then evacuated to Voca hotel because of flooding. Not hotel or staffs fault but spent second day waiting around to find out what was happening. Finally taken to other hotel which wasnt such a great location. Not close to coast and on very busy street. Staff were friendly but nobody really knew what was going on it was day to day didnt get back to Baruna."

We stayed in an ocean view room and were delighted with the beautiful outlook and comfortable, well-appointed space. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options each morning. The hotel restaurant staff were lovely and always welcoming. The location in Jimbaran was perfect — calm, scenic, and ideal for easing into holiday mode. We appreciated how caring and attentive the hotel team were throughout our stay. "
