"Beautiful place. Highly recommend taking advantage of offerings from resort or you will be sitting around alot. Enjoyed Bee Hive expereince and fly fishing off campus. Food & Bev good, but should be better. Slow turns at tables, luke warm dishes and not a true sense of service until the last night we enjoyed a great dinner there. New Paultz worth a drive too. Rent bikes and hit rail trail!"

"We loved that this designated historic property is in a historic district - barely half a block from NYState's first senate house! - and maintains a historic "feel" while offering contemporary amenities. Loved the suite style accomodations. The friendly but unobtrusive hosts were always available to help or explain things and told us where to find dining nearby - within easy walking distance, and interesting facts about the town's development. "

"This hotel is lovely. Clean, modern, nicely appointed. Our rooms were large. The restaurant was fantastic - great food and decor. The included continental breakfast was very good. The location in Kingston was charming. There are just 3 things keeping me from giving a 5 star review: first, it was not clear to us when booking that the rooms are in several buildings 2 blocks apart, so we hauled all our luggage out, put it back in the car, and hauled it out again - in the rain. "The location is excellent and the gardens are divine. Our only problem was the winding staircase to our upper floor room. Would not be a problem for younger people but my husband and i are in our 70s! We would stay again if we could be assured of a lower level room."
