"My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. "Very helpful and sweet staff. Beautiful and peaceful location. A bit out in nowhere, but staff helped to order transportation when we needed to go out "

"Superbe hotel. Nous avons vécue un rêve avec une vue incroyable. La famille est formidable. Je conseille a tout le monde cet hotel."

"Beautiful view from the room, and was a nice comfortable stay."

It's a quiet location, with stunning rooms - which is a welcome change if you're staying mostly in guest houses or big resorts. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, and the sounds and smells of nature were great - if you like the sound of birds chirping, this is a place for you. There's one tree with tons of them (they said 1,000 but I couldn't wrap my...
