"A decent hotel but nothing special. My standard room had a musty drainage type smell, windows could not be opened. Bathroom was the best quality of the room. Breakfast at £15.95 for one over priced in my opinion. Spa and Pool area was reasonably nice, towels provided. "

Only problem was staff. Mostly lack of. Had to wait a while because no one was there for checkin. After 10-15 min other (friendly) staffmember checked us in. Other minor issue was taxis. Staff wil not order them for you. You have to do this yourself. Although its not a problem i never had to do this in any hotel i’ve been to."

"The experience at Muthu was great. Staff were very courteous as well as accommodating. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were great too. I liked the vibe of the place and the entrance is really grand. Gives a classy look without the expensive price tag. "

Particular praise must go to the lady (I don't know her name) that served behind the bar, served the dinners and worked in the breakfast room in the morning. She was really friendly and she didn't stop working. Whatever they are paying her, it's not enough !
