Lovely central location, quirky but comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Great bed! Only negative was a very noisy bathroom floor which creaked very loudly, ensuring that all were wide awake once the other paid a visit during the night!

Bed was very comfortable, room very clean, ensuite was okay (no extractor fan which made room hot and sink too small for a shave) Service was brilliant, breakfast yummy, owner (Carla) very friendly and accomodating

The place was clean with a comfortable bed and great breakfast. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly. This was a good base from which to explore Suffolk

Really really friendly!

The welcome could not have been friendlier, really lovely people. The station house building is a little 'creaky' but it's full of character and well appointed; it was really nice seeing the trains come and go and they did not disturb us at all. The view from the window was lovely with the sun rising over the river Deben, looking up to the ancient hills of Sutton Hoo. Breakfast was great! Full English (vegetarian), with loads of coffee and plenty of smiles.

Nice room, rather overlooked, great breakfast

A great location - right by the train tracks, but no trains overnight disturbed us. Old building and the most made of the room which was spotless and well appointed. Tiny bathroom had good sized shower but small sink. Steep and narrow stairs up to the room might be a challenge if you have a big suitcase or mobility issues. We had the family room (double and single) - the main issue we had was it was so overlooked - people walking over the bridge to the train looked right into the window, and for the other window people on one platform could see in. Carla was brilliant organising everything, and provided an exceptional breakfast in the Whistlestop Cafe. Lovely but rather expensive for the full experience. That may be because Woodbridge is expensive mind you.

Gem of a guest house.

Had a lovely stay for two nights at this well located guest house. Service was very friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable clean bed and a really good shower. There are some stairs to climb but this wasn’t an issue for me and help would be given with cases if needed. The breakfast at the very busy Whistle Stop Cafe( part of the guest house) was delicious with a varied menu. Parking was in the station car park and only £4 for 24hrs. The area was central to the town but very quiet during the night. If I visit Woodbridge again this would be my go to accommodation.

Little gem in Woodbridge

Absolutely loved this little place. Carla is an amazing host she welcomed us and showed us to the room. Very convenient location in the Woodbridge train station. And no the trains are very spread out and it’s about a 15 second vibration and there’s no trains after 11 so it’s very quiet till about 7 am. Breakfast is a full English or vegetarian and a few other choices. Very nice made for you and they save you a table every morning. I like it’s 9:00 not 7am like big hotels. Spotless room nice bathroom nice new shower Comfy beds. It’s an older building so there’s some stairs but no problem for us at all. Really enjoyed it. Well done job and I’ll be back

Great stay at the guest house. Good location and comfortable. Had a great sleep there. Best full English breakfast I have had in a long time. Really tasty. I'll be visiting again for that alone!

Great for a weekend break

Nice to have a view over the estuary. The trains weren't a bother, especially as the service starts later on a Sunday. Host was very welcoming and room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is on the doorstep in paid public car park.
