Rice field paradise

We adored this little villa right on the rice field, perfect size for a little couple getaway with perfect amount of privacy- staff extremely helpful and very friendly, organising our dinner and personal massages as soon as we checked in (I might add we didn’t arrive til 7pm) Overall, excellent service, lovely villa, very happy with our stay.

We loved staying at Umi Padi Villas next to some rice paddies. Our villa was spectacular and within walking distance to stores, restaurants and all the things you’d want to do. There are some fabulous small restaurants and massage places a few steps from Umi Padi which we really enjoyed.

Family run motel with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful private pool. Supplied breakfast was very nice. Staff was extremely helpful in organising activities. Our driver was very insightful and provided us with lots of knowledge of local customs. Would definitely recommend Uma Padi for a relaxing stay in Bali.

Good breakfast and our kids loved the private pool. Everything was great and the owners were friendly. We didn’t realise that the three rooms are actually seperate buildings all within the same enclosed private compound but that was fine and fun for kids. Only slight negative was that one of the rooms smelt damp and musty but the other 2 were fine so we just used those 2 as our youngest wanted to sleep on the couch in our room rather than by herself in the musty smelling room. Our 2 boys loved having their own room. Overall was pretty good value

Our stay at this Villa was exceptional. From the moment we arrived to departing, we loved it. The hosts were so attentive, making sure we had our breakfast order in, checking if our room needs cleaning and making sure we are.enjoyjng our time. The villa is brand new and we could bave easily moved in! There is everything you need, from full kitchen, big bathroom, very comfortable bed and beautiful private pool. The location was perfect for us. It was quiet and just out of Ubud central but in walking distance (well for us as we love walking). Otherwise you can get a short scooter ride into the main area. Breakfast was delicious especially the Uma Padi smoothie - we could have drank those all day. The host kindly looked after our luggage on our last day and arranged a transfer to the airport and the driver was excellent. If we visit Ubud again we will definitely stay here again, we loved it!

First things first. Thank you Nyoman, you got us everywhere. Tucked in a calm corner of Ubud, this really felt like a home away from home. Close enough to everything in Ubud, including the Monkey Forest. Family owned and authentic feeling. The view of the rice field was beautiful. Others have spoken about how the next villa, which is two floors, looks over this one bed villa. They've taken care of that by adding more foliage between the two. So, absolute privacy. From the smiling pick up at the airport, which in our case had to be rescheduled on the fly, to the smiling drop off at the other villa we stayed at in Seminyak, Nyoman and the rest of his family took amazing care of us. If you want to stay in Ubud, I can't recommend this villa more.

We rented the 3 apt villa for a family of 6. It was not clear in the description that the rooms were all separate and one was upstairs. The living spaces are outdoors. It was very spacious but we had planned on being more together like you would in a house. The bathrooms were not clean, lots of mildew. The staff was friendly and helpful. Often felt rushed at breakfast due to over eagerness for staff to remove plates and dishes. Wished they would just remove once we were done eating. There is no longer a shuttle service as described in the Expedia review so we had to call for rides. Staff also arranged a driver for us when we were departing.

Beautiful villa! Nice and peaceful and the pool was nice but too deep for me.. My partner however loved it (as he’s much taller then me) Bed and pillows were comfy. Air con was working perfectly. We absolutely loved our stay at Uma Padi villas. The Villa was really well appointed, with a comfy 4 poster bed, gorgeous bathroom with a giant tub and seperate rain shower (with good water pressure!), and the pool was a great size. The place was really clean and the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back ourselves on our next trip to Bali.
