The rooms are very clean and spacious. You gotta love nature to love staying here, because there are many sounds of nature, from insects to geckos, inside or close to your room. The only downside is there are possible mold/moisture issue that is causing some discomfort to my wife, but it is probably expected as the washroom/bedrooms are not totally closed off to outdoors. The staff is the friendliest and most considerate I've experienced. Overall a beautiful and wonderful stay

Super nice employés, wonderfully prepared breakfast.. Pretty spacious and balinese style bathroom and master bedroom, pool was clean and pretty awesome.. 7-9min away from city center.. If you like the sound of nature and rice fields . You'll feel and hear it at nights while sleeping Loved it

Road to this property is little confusing and steep, after 6pm when darkness hit, it will feel like little unsafe to go out for a walk, STAFF is really nice they try to help you in the way that they can understand. People who are looking for nature theme and cabin style rooms this was it. Breakfast was really nice and prepared fresh. They should put like big banner or something so taxi drivers or delivery drivers can know. Overall Good Experience

Nice place secluded and away from the main busy area. Great staff!! They always helped us with our requests such as renting a scooter. The place is near rice paddies and some papaya and coconut plantations.

Myself and my husband just got back from a three night stay here and we absolutely loved it. The staff were so lovely and helpful , they catered to our every request. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was really lovely and fresh. We would 100% come back.

Excellent retreat in Ubud.

It is an excellent retreat to unwind and mosquito free property. You need to bring your own essentials like toothbrush etc as these are not provided for. Peaceful and quiet surroundings for a most restful stay. Lights could be a little brighter in the bathroom, especially sink area.

This was a real Bali experience. You are right in the middle of all the paddi fields and at times, I didn’t like the smell much!! The people were lovely and the villa was clean. Breakfasts were very tasty especially the banana pancakes!! You need to get a bike or taxi into the centre.

So unfortunate that i got sold on the fact that it said that i would have the entire villa. WRONG! Nope... just a room... no private pool... just a room which absolutely spoilt my experience. Not only that... they were not contactable at anytime before my stay there through text, phone calls or email. Expedia were even not able to contact them. 1 night was 1 night too many for me and i cancelled my stay and went elsewhere which proved to be an amazing experience at the Madani Antique Villas... Give this place a wide berth as its hard to get to in every respect.. pity because as usual, the staff are as always so beautiful and helpful.

Nice but noisy and unable to sleep well

Ubud luwih us approx 4km north of ubud center and cost 100k for a taxi after being dropped by a transfer at monkey forest area. The hotel itself is nice, pleasant staff, good bungalows, a small pool, acceptable wifi but below average breakfast. The problem we had was the noise from surrounding properties. Music blasting and kareoke until 2am and cockrels only meters from the bungalow which are awake from 5am and call every few seconds to each other. Sleep was terrible and we left after 3 days very tired. The photographs hotels.com depict isolated bungalows surrounded by rice padi fields - the reality is that the area has been developed and other reaidential properties are now in pretty close proximty (less than 10m) especially for balinese bungalows built without consideration for the transfer of noise. I dare say itd have been much more peaceful in ubud centre despite the crowds and traffic. We were saddened as didnt have the peaceful Christmas planned.

Nous avons loué la mini villa avec piscine privée. Les + : très confortable et très bien équipée. Séjour parfait. A améliorer : le personnel ne parle pas bien anglais ! Nous n'avions pas de véhicule et il était très compliqué d'organiser des transports. Pas de restaurant alentour, il fqut marcher 30 minutes.

Ketika kami datang keadaan sebenarnya lain daripada di foto. Jalan menuju lokasi rusak dan sempit sekali dan lokasi tsb tidak mengijinkan pemakaian Gocar sedangkan transport yang ditawarkan hotel 2x lipat lebih mahal. Juga sarapan sedikit sekali. Utk American breakfast hanya 1 potong roti yg dibagi 2. Kamar nyaman, service baik dan staf ramah.

Der Bungalow in dem wir untergebracht waren, war auf keinem der Bilder. Es war soooo schön. Rundum Fenster in mitten der Reisfelder. Ein riesiges Himmelbett mit Moskitonetz. Ein traumhaftes Bad, was unter freiem Himmel war. Regenwasserdusche und Badewanne. Das Personal ist super zuvorkommend und nett. Sie helfen einem gerne weiter und organisieren Trips für sie. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp und wirklich unglaublich schön. Es liegt etwas abgelegen, aber das ist es wert. Einfach nur zu empfehlen!

The staff here are so kind, courteous and attentive. They are family owned operated villas, and they do their absolute best to communicate in English ( please be patient, and take in consideration that you're in another country). They really are very attentive and sweet! The breakfast is cooked to order every morning during the hours offered, so be sure to visit the restaurant, (or ask for room service) and OMG it is amazing! I would order the rice almost daily, as it was my favorite- but I tried it all and it was all delicious. If you can't handle spicy food ( fyi- indonesian food is spicy) make sure you let them know! My favorite was the fresh made juices. They do offer a local shuttle that will take you into UBUD city during certain scheduled hours with a central drop off & pick up meeting location. If you want to travel outside of these hours, you can request their driver for a very reasonable fee, and they are more than happy to do so! Also, keep in mind the villas are located out on the "beaten path" outside of the city. I really enjoyed this, and it was the type of experience I was looking for in Bali. I did not want to be central to all of the noise, traffic, nor did I want to have the "touristy" hotel feel. This location definitely delivered that for me. I stayed during off peak season, so traffic wasn't too bad. From the villas to UBUD city in a car it was maybe 10-15 min max? I felt like I was family here and I can't wait to return! Loved them!

Wundervolle Anlage mit traumhaften Reisfeldern

Wir waren für 2 Wochen im Ubud Luwih Villa, das zwar etwas außerhalb von Ubud Zentrum liegt (rund 5-10 Minuten Fahrt), aber genau aus diesem Grund perfekt ist, da es hier sehr ruhig ist. Zudem bietet die Unterkunft kostenlose Shuttles zu bestimmten Zeiten nach Ubud an. Ebenso können Roller günstig angemietet werden, die sich ideal für einen Trip nach Ubud und in die Umgebung nutzen lassen. Die Bungalows sind ausreichend groß und sehr sauber. Idyllisch und einfach traumhaft ist der Blick in Richtung der Reisfelder. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr oft vom Fahrer des Hotels in alle Richtungen Balis fahren lassen. Die Preise gehen auch völlig in Ordnung, zumal die Trips meistens den ganzen Tag lang gingen und er als Guide immer für uns da war. Es gibt zwar kein Restaurant (für Mittag-/Abendessen), aber man kann sich Essen ins Hotel liefern lassen (z. B. vom Warung Mina, sehr zu empfehlen). Das Personal hilft auch hier an dieser Stelle. Alles in allem würden wir sofort wieder hierherkommen, da es ein perfekter Ort ist, um einerseits die Ruhe der Natur zu genießen, aber auch um relativ schnell im sehr belebten Ubud zu sein.
