"We had the privilege of staying in a truly authentic home nestled in the heart of the rice fields, owned by the most wonderful family. The mother, an incredible cook, prepared meals that were simply unforgettable, and their on-site restaurant had a charm of its own. Her daughter and the staff were genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The level of care and hospitality they provided made us feel completely at home. To top it all off, the pool at...

"We stayed in the Puri Raya Villa for one week and it was simply fantastic!
The rooms were clean and beautiful with enough space. The bathroom was especially spacious. From our Villa we had a amazing view into the jungle.
The staff moreover was extremely kind and helpful. The manager, Putu, always helped us to organize acitvities (e.g. massages, tour guide for Kintamani). He picked us up from the airport, was available if we needed something anytime and gave us recommadations for cafés and...

"Great resort with beautiful grounds, villas and amenities! The resort shuttle takes about 15minutes to get you to Ubud. There are contemporary cafes, a mini mart and small restaurants within walking distance. "

"Gusty and Parta are incredible hosts that have built an amazingly beautiful villa. Our Villa was great. We loved the amazing exterior and interior of the place. We had our own little coy fish pond and several private seating areas. Gusty, Parta and their family will go above and beyond to make sure your visit is amazing!"

"Hotel is absolutely beautiful!! The location is safe!!, however kind of annoying to enter and leave from as very windy roads. Also the rooms were a hike to get to and from, but it's kind of private in a way. The rooms are super clean, towels replaced each day and room cleaned each day, and the staff were all super friendly! Limited dining options at hotel restaurant, the food wasn't the best. I was very happy with my stay!! "

"We had the worse experience of any kind . The hotel isn’t luxury . Everything outdated and the service was appalling . We stayed one hour in the property and instantly checked out as it was so bad . We couldn’t see ourselves staying for five nights in a dirty environment and the staff that couldn’t be bothered and everything was an effort . We wrote to the general manager and the hotel office and didn’t even get an acknowledgment or even a reply . We even asked for a manager when we were there and they said there were none . An appalling experience all along "
"I recently stayed at The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali, and it was a fantastic experience—especially for a first trip to Bali.
Since it was my first time visiting, I chose Westin for the comfort and reliability, and it definitely delivered. The property is beautiful, and the location in Ubud is peaceful and scenic. The infinity pool is stunning, and one of my favorite parts of the stay was the food—especially the healthy options and their ginger shots, which I absolutely loved.
The staff were exceptional throughout my stay. I had to request a room change on the first day, and they handled it immediately and smoothly, which I really appreciated.
One small note—the hotel is listed as walking distance to some places on Expedia, but in reality, you’ll likely need transportation. That said, everything is still relatively close and easy to reach.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. If you’re looking for a safe, comfortable, and wellness-focused place in Ubud, I would highly recommend The Westin.

"Alaya is conveniently located in downtown Ubud, close to many great restaurants, Monkey Forest, Coco Market, and Yoga Barn, and within walking distance of Ubud Palace. The resort also offers plenty of amenities. The staff are always ready to help, and the room is very comfortable and well-appointed. I’m very happy with my choice of Alaya Resort Ubud!"
"The room was spacious and clean. The staff always so so friendly. Even though we checked in later in the evening that we were greeted with such kindness and warmth. You’re close enough to everything yet far enough from the chaos- plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby if you want to stay close. They even decorated our room as we are celebrating. Thank youuuuu"
"Totally enjoyed our stay at the Udaya . The resort is clean, peaceful and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything we had at the restaurant was delicious and especially the morning breakfast there was always a fresh selection of fruits and pastries.W e also took part in the yoga classes held in a beautiful setting, and the nature walk held in the morning. We are very pleased with our experience here at the resort, A special thanks to all the staff . We leave with fond memories of our stay . thank you🙏"
"The stay was great! Check in was super quick but I checked in in the evening after a 3 hour flight. The room was good to just that the AC took a long time to cool the room and made some noises (it needs cleaning). This hotel is one of the few hotels in central Ubud that has a rooftop pool. Breakfast was adequate but nothing to shout about. Close proximity within 1 min to Coco Supermarket which often the meeting point for tours."
"The staff here are fantastic. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and a few days of my stay the construction noise across the way did wake me up quiet early. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
