「The night staff at the desk was the absolute worst I have ever encountered at any hotel. She was rude, condescending, not helpful and just plain mean. She could not have been more annoyed to be doing her job. She was cursing under her breath about another guest while checking us in. Apparently other guests had similar experiences by the conversations overheard in the elevator. This person should not have been interacting with guests. Highway traffic was very loud. 「This is a no pet hotel but I have a registered service dog and at check in the receptionist gave me torment over having a dog. I know by law they can ask 3 different questions it’s in my paper work but she even wanted to know my medical condition and all and then s not allowed. She was rude! Never will I stay there again. She made me feel very uncomfortable there.」

「Absolutely beautiful property, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The rooms are large, cozy and nicely decorated. It was quite and perfect for couples. We had brunch at the Hickory and the food was excellent. Many activities also available on site.」
