「A quick overnight trip en route to Russell but a lovely place. Super clean and well equipped. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Beautiful place on the beach with a world class view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nice restaurants nearby too!」

「Fabulous spot for a long weekend away from Auckland. The sea view from the main property is amazing, and the pool / games barn a great place for the kids to be entertained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kohinui (family) cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and heat pumps/AC in every room. 「Room was a great size, clean and tidy, had everything we needed. Loved the two recliner arm chairs in the room, was great to be able to relax on comfortable chairs instead of having to sit or lay on the bed. The cleaning staff were friendly and the owner was very kind as well. She had a lemon tree at the front of the property and I asked to buy a few lemons but she wouldn’t accept any money and gave them for free which I really appreciated.」

「Staff member was brilliant, we were in whangarei for a funeral and needed to get changed the man on the desk was so helpful and allowed us to get the room earlier than the 2pm check in, this was much appreciated. Would recommend without hesitation. 」
