Yavapai Lodge

Yavapai Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Room was fantastic and comfortable. We had the pet friendly room and an in room kennel was already there. The coffee in the room were some of the best options I have seen in any hotel. I am a fan of continental breakfasts, so if I had to choose something to be "negative" about that would be it, but it was so minor compared to the rest of the benefits. We will definitely stay here again."

Holiday Inn Resort The Squire at Grand Canyon by IHG

Holiday Inn Resort The Squire at Grand Canyon by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"This was the perfect place to stay if you’re going to the Grand Canyon ( south rim). The south rim entrance is only about fifteen minutes away! The hotel has a both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. The outdoor has a nice courtyard area with ping pong table and corn hole games. The indoor pool area has huge doors that open up so the pool area is not too stuffy or humid and you don’t have that chlorine smell. Also the indoor pool area has a movie screen and they play Disney Pixar movies. The indoor pool has a submerged concert bench built all around the pool so you can sit in the pool and watch the movie, which is a clever idea. The pool was a little on the colder side. The hotel is a little different it is a campus style so we were in a second building but they are only separated by the courtyard. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The shower heads were high( if you’re taller it’s kind of a big deal) with good water pressure. Each day there were several elk wandering in the front yard of the hotel and hanging out in the bushes. The only issue we had was our mini fridge was not working but they replaced it right away. Also they do not have a complimentary breakfast. They do have an on site restaurant but it was pricey. This is the best Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed at and would definitely stay there again! Especially if the pool and hot tub amenities are a priority for you."

El Tovar - Inside the Park

10/10 Excellent
"Overall, wonderful lodge. Relaxing. Rim trail couldn’t be closer, just a few steps away. Restaurant and tavern are delightful. Canyon view rooms are limited; select yours carefully (and there’s no microwave oven on the premises sans the restaurant’s ). Bottom line - always El Tovar when visiting the South Rim."

Grand Canyon Hotel and Suites

Grand Canyon Hotel and Suites

8/10 Good
"It was a great location and the room was nice and big but the kitchennette area was too small to prepare any kind of food. The breakfast was unfortunately terrible with a basic buffett but the staff were nice and polite. Good hotel but not worth the price paid. Thanks"
