We have a great team experience at Orchid House Jungle. The hotel was beautiful and peaceful. The food was amazing and fresh. The staff was the best, they were accommodating to our needs and help facilitate rentals and tours. We felt like family there with the personal approach and attention. We visited the sister hotel and they were great as well. The continental breakfast was perfect and rooms were cleaned everyday. We will be definitely coming back.

The property is absolutely beautiful, and well maintained. The staff, especially Frank the concierge, is very attentive and responded quickly to all requests. I went to Tulum to celebrate my 50th, and it did not disappoint!! Frank and staff decorated and maintained the room daily. I returned from my daily outing to a new surprise daily! My family ordered balloons, wine, and a cake- everything was spectacular. They really paid attention to detail. Things to know: -The hotel is not on a beach, but it is near it- short 10 min taxi ride away -The hotel has beach cabanas but does not provide a way to get there- I suggest they have shuttle service to these cabanas for customers to enjoy, as taxi’s are not cheap -There are local bike/vespas for rent -There are great restaurants within walking distance- we had great local food, and Pizza nearby. -Near activities like snorkeling, and the ruins - but you have to pay for transportation to get there - They offer complimentary Continental breakfast (fruit, coffee, yogurt parfait, toast, and Jam)- delicious! -You have a private outdoor soak pool in your room. but be mindful of mosquitoes- they are vicious! I recommend a stay here, but i recommend you either rent a car, or Vespa to get around, as taxis are costly. Buy the local mosquito repellent!! You’ll need it for outdoor dining, and activities.

We loved our weeklong stay here. The rainforest vibe and secluded pools and waterfalls were just the atmosphere we wanted, and the location away from the beach in a quiet neighborhood was as very appealing. We had a room with a garden and soaking tub that gave the place the feel of an expensive boutique hotel for a fraction of the cost. The breakfast included with our room was small but excellent, and we made good use of the bar's happy hour. Superb margaritas!

The room smelled moldy and musty. It was impossible to air out and we had to move hotels. The patio bathtub was dirty/not cleaned. The AC was dripping water on the outlet next to the bed. The staff was rarely available, even at breakfast time.

Amazing stay! The suite exceeded my expectations—huge space, super comfortable beds, and a spotless bathroom. The outdoor jacuzzi was a perfect touch. Housekeeping cleaned every day, and the continental breakfast was delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax but still close to everything, this is the perfect spot.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this little hidden gem of a hotel. The ambience is magical, the food is extraordinary, and the staff is wonderful. They truly did everything to make our stay fantastic. We stayed in the Orchid Room, which is a simple studio suite that has an amazing charm to it. The structure is almost a polished concrete "igloo", with smooth flowing curved lines. This is built directly into and around the trees which form the center open plaza of the hotel. The suite opens onto a private patio deck that overlooks this plaza and the swim-up pool/bar and restaurant below. You can enjoy a drink or meal as beautiful birds light on the trees in the open air. We tried multiple items on the menu over five days. Every single dish was fantastic. The continental breakfast with yogurt and fresh fruit was fabulous. The Huevos Rancheros, Salmon, and Risotto were all excellent as well. All this is enough. But the thing most special about Orchid House is the staff. Antonio, Jose, Luis, and especially the manager Frank (Frank deserves a special mention) were superbly hospitable and made our stay everything it could be. Housekeeping was special, to say the least. We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary, and every day we would return from our travels to find the room decorated celebrating the event with creative bath towel designs; swans, rose petals, candles, and congratulatory messages. You're just not gonna get this kind of special service in a chain.

Ill never stay anywhere else again in Tulum. There's a reason this place has just high reviews. The location is perfect, the rooms make it feel like in jungle palace. But what made me write my 3rd review in life is how amazing they are at customer service. There were a few small issues in room. And a loud cat out back. What makes me a loyal guest forever is how they respond. They were so quick and on the, and nothing was too small an issue to them. The interior makes you feel so peaceful. And then I leared you even greet free access to their beach hotel also. Amazing!
