It didn’t look like the counters were wiped down. The blanket didn’t look like it had been washed, as well as the shower curtain. Small bottles for hygiene supply should be used instead of the big bottles that way we’re not all touching the previous person’s germs. The tv remote was filthy and sticky and the tv wasn’t connected to the internet nor was there cable. The light in the hallway nearly fell on my head. It dangled and missed me because I was short enough. The lighting in the room is also very depressing. The maintenance and cleanliness overall could improve

Hotel staff was not at desk, on their cell phone a lot, breakfast was very slow and late, coffee empty most of the time, orange juice was water, TV and phone did not work in my room, staff would be on their cell phone and walk past you at the front desk but would answer if you called front desk from your cell phone. No foot stool for arm chair in the room, no coffee in the room and no drawers for cloths just square open front cubicles. Location and cleanliness were the only celebration points. Handicap parking was very minimal, maybe not even up to code.

The rooms need a good remodel performed. Looked like they started and never completed. There was dried paint splattered on the floors. There was dirt on the floor, dirt on the walls, bed spread had a big yellow stain in the center, bed sheets had black stain marks and a couple towels looked like they had not been washed between uses. Even the heating/cooling selection panel needed a good disinfectant and cleaning. Have stayed in other motels by this chain and they may have needed an update but at least they were clean. This one needs a good cleaning crew to scrub and disinfect top to bottom.

Our recent stay was far from smooth. Upon check-in, the front desk staff told me my prepayment had not gone through, even though I had booked and paid for the room well over a month in advance and had my receipt in hand. After some back-and-forth, they finally acknowledged the payment and gave me a room key. Unfortunately, when we got to the room, it was immediately obvious that it had not been touched since the last guest checked out—dirty towels were scattered on the bathroom floor, the bedding was in disarray, trash was still in the bins, and the overall condition made it clear no cleaning had been done. I went back to the front desk to report the problem, but the staff member initially insisted the room had been cleaned. After he personally checked it, he apologized and gave us a key to a different room. The second room was clean, but it was extremely hot inside because the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on ahead of time—not even the fan was running—so it took a long time to cool down and get comfortable. On a positive note, the rest of the hotel’s common areas appeared clean and well-kept, but first impressions matter, and the check-in/payment confusion paired with the state of the first room left us frustrated. While we appreciated the eventual correction, the experience fell well short of expectations for a smooth and welcoming stay.
