"The property was clean, neat and we had everything we needed. We chose this because it did not have amenities and we did not want them. We needed a place to sleep and shower. Had fridge & microwave. No coffee in room or pool or weight room. Room was quiet and had AC. Location was good. Was between a Burger King and a Wendy's, so there were places to eat. Gas station across the street. Good central location to other businesses. Didn't see any point in staying places much higher for things we don't use. Only probably was getting them to answer in the lobby. Needed extra roll of toilet tissue and towels. Both times just happened to see the cleaner and told her what we needed. Needs were met. Would stay again as reasonably priced."

"This was our 2nd time staying there. They only thing i would say is the showers need to have and take off shower head due to the shower place is very low, if your a tall person ypu might struggle a bit. Other than that we love it there!"

The rooms appeared to have been recently updated and everything was clean. If I was to asked to complain about something.. the AC unit could be updated, but thats about it."

"For our honeymoon, my wife and I had a Mon-Fri 4 night stay in what the resort calls cabin 5, Expedia calls the design cabin. Just a couple of tiny details prevented us from rating 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10. Positives: Incredible view of the lake from the cabin patio. Nice access to the water with a dock and little sandy beach. Pool and hot tubs are top notch and close walking distance. Bed was very comfortable, we have back trouble and are very picky about bed firmness and comfort. Nicely equipped kitchen. Great dining experience at Boondockz, also within easy walking distance. Cabin was clean although minimally appointed - the listing accurately pictured and described it more like a fishing trip cabin, it is NOT a condo or someone's home. It is a very quiet and remote location with the nearest store being a Dollar General about 25 min away. We enjoyed having our dog with us. So far, a perfect review. Lows: There are a few maintenance items which need attention with exterior doors not closing well and with the laminate floors curling up in some places. Given that there is a nice charcoal grill, we expected and didn't bring any seasoning for grilling. The only thing there was pepper. The little store didn't have any seasonings to buy. If we had known we would have brought our own. Communication was poor, phone calls and FB messages went unanswered. Overall, a perfect mini-moon stay. Would love to give a perfect review as we had a great time but have to say 4/5 or 8/10."
