Everything was perfect! All of the staff was very kind and helpful! The food options were a little scarce but very enjoyable for a quick snack. The location is beyond perfect since it’s very centric and near good places in Tromsø 🙌 Every time I came back from a tour outside in the cold, I felt the warmth and comfort of the hotel. Totally recommend.

My room was small and basic, but the location and price were perfect for what I needed. I stayed two nights and was sad to leave my little room as I had grown quite fond of the view I had of the street and surprisingly I found the sound of cars driving and birds chirping more meditative than disruptive

The hotel staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. We booked a standard room but were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves on the 6th floor, facing the view of both the mountains and the sea on the east side. The room was much larger than the typical moderate room, well-maintained, clean, with a very firm and comfortable bed and a warm blanket. Although the bathroom was spacious, but it lacked a shower curtain. The amenities like microwave, hot water and paper cup at reception available for guests to use. Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out was a plus. The location was convenient, with a supermarket a 5-minute walk away and an airport-express bus stop within 1-2 minutes and downtown just a couple of minutes away on foot. We'd definitely stay here again.

The bedroom was smaller than size of my riverboat room. If you had 2 people in the bed (I did not) then one would have to crawl over the other to get out of the bed. The room was exactly the width of the bed. They should also just give you the crummy sandwich and apple for breakfast rather than charge you $2.05 for it. How cheap can you be. I will try another hotel when I go back to Tromso because $200 for this room and zero amenities is way overpriced.

we stayed for one night after a later flight. Check in was extremely easy; there were kiosks at the entrance where you checked yourself in and made your own key cards. There was a little cafe area that came in handy when we left in the morning. Room was clean and had what we needed.

Rooms are small but they are clean, warm and very well located. Lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Also, tour meet ups are 5 minutes walk away. Water and snacks are available for purchase in the lobby area. Self check in did not work for us but there is always a staff member present to assist.

I was surprised at how spacious the rooms were. 2 people fit very comfortably in the double twin room. Staff were always around and helpful. I also felt safe that the hotel required a key card to enter after a certain time and to use the elevators.

Property okay- clean. A lot of street noise Friday evening with people shouting and smashing glass on the streets until 4am. Would not recommend if you are a light sleeper. Very close to everything and didn’t need a car to get around.

It serves a basic purpose and is in a central location but is on the pricier side given that housekeeping isn’t daily and room amenities are somewhat lacking.

Property is well situated and relatively central. The thermostat in the room however didn’t really work well and was a bit too warm otherwise the staff and amenities were very good!

Very helpful. Went out of their way to resolve any issues. Rooms were very nice and fully equipped. I booked a time to wash my clothes. It took longer than expected, and I had to leave the hotel at the hotel, so a staff member transferred my clothes to the dryer herself and put them in a bag after they were dried.

Easy walking distance to supermarket, cafes, town and main pickup points for Northen light, snowmobile and huskie dog sled tours. Rooms smallish, but for the price good. It's Norway so don't expect a kettle in the room.

It was a good place to stay, close to the town center. The staff could have been a bit more friendly. They charge extra for towels if you use more than 2 within your stay which seems a bit unfair. There isn't proper food on the property. It's a basic hotel to stay in, a good choice if you're going to be out most of the time.

It's a basic hotel with self check in/out but was clean, warm and comfortable. I booked a standard room and still found it a bit small however it offered the best value for money as I just wanted a base for my whale watching and aurora trips.The staff I spoke to were very helpful and there is a receptionist available 24hrs. Its in a good location for central Tromso and within a 10 minute walk for most excursion meeting points. If you need to get to the airport the No 42 bus stops round the corner and will get you there in approximately 10 minutes. P.s. I saw some amazing whales but no aurora. I will stay here again when I return.

As far as self service hotels go, you couldn’t get much better. Clean, cosy, warm, safe, nice staff. I think it could’ve used a slightly bigger selection for breakfasts, but what was there was still lovely :)

A great central location. The room I was in suffered from street noise, the town was pretty busy till 2am and people talking / still partying as the walked by past the hotel could be heard even with the windows closed. It is a central location though so to be expected. Good selection of snacks at reception but I’d suggest heading to a local cafe / restaurant to eat.
