Our room was booked out to another man as well. Fortunately I became unwell and we went home. My husband had misplaces a set of keys so went back in the morning. There was a man in our booked bed. The staff had booked out same room. Therefore they will get paid twice. If we had of been in bed that man had access to the room and us.

Excellent accommodation
This particular accommodation in terms of hostels ranks in my top 5%. Great staff, clean, the other backpackers have good energy. The building has been well preserved for a good 100 years. The cafe downstairs offers a wonderful ambiance, great coffee and a mixture of traditional and modern cuisine. The public bar offers a taste of Australia with smiling faces and a good honest vibrant environment.

It's a lovely property, very clean, not that big. I counted 8 rooms. Enough space in the rooms. I stayed on a dorm with his own large bathroom. Kitchen has everything it needs. It's a walk to the center but there is a bus stop very close to the property. James welcomed me properly. There is a bar at the ground floor. Easy to order breakfast in the morning. It's closed in the evening but there a pubs nearby. They only 'negative' thing I can write is that the lady who showed me around didn't show me the common social tv room where they other guests can meet. It's behind a door without any sign so I had to wait for another guest to show me that place. I would definitely recommend this place.
