「The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...

「We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. 」

「A cozy cabin in the woods, only a brief walk away from the lake, and a comfortable fit for our family of 5. Very well stocked kitchen - we were able to cook all our meals easily. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and the swimming area and kayaks that were available for guest use.
