「Staff was great, and bungalow we stayed in was lovely. Adjacent to hotel, room had jetted tub with shower plus kitchenette. Water front view was lively albeit 5 minute parking space in front for checkin sometimes had cars blocking our view. The restaurant dinner for sunset was lovely and food was excellent. 」

「We had a wonderful stay at Comfort Flames! We stayed for 10 days while visiting family in Whangarei and it was the perfect oasis. The convenience of the room service was unmatched, especially as I am pregnant and have to eat first thing in the morning to not get sick. Raewyn was so hospitable and kind, as were the rest of the staff. The view from our room was beautiful and the aircon made it so comfortable at all times of day. We will definitely stay here in the future and would highly recommend...

「This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!」
