"Every member of the staff was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to make my stay the best I could possibly be. The food was delicious. the tours were personal and led by very knowledgeable guides. If you don’t have time to do all of the activities, and if you’re there for nature, I recommend skipping the jungle hike to the top of mountain. It’s no more than a walk up a bunch of steps to a lookout point."

"We came from Canada and spent 3 nights here in one of their bungalows. So nice to have the AC! Breakfast buffet (with made to order eggs) was good, all the staff were amazing and very helpful. So many lizards on the property and the turtles were nesting and hatching right out front of the lodge! Town was only a short walk away. The boat ride in and out was an adventure in itself! Stay here, you won’t regret it"

"Fabulous stay at Miss Junie’s Stayed there a full week Room was spacious with comfortable bed and bedding Large shower with hot water a bonus Housekeeping was well done Veranda was lovely to sit on during evening Property is large with good sized pool Location at north end of town so less noisy than in town. Daily breakfast was plentiful and delicious Staff were the best part of stay - assistance with arranging excursions. Victor was always there with a smile. We would absolutely return"

"The staff at this hotel are nothing short of incredible. They go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and taken care of. We did all the tours with their partner Tuanis Tours and found the guides knowledgeable and fun. All the tours went on a little longer because the guides were determined to make sure we saw all animals possible. They even made the tours enjoyable the few times we got caught in the rain. The hotel was also super accommodating and helpful when a storm changed our return travel plans. Also the location is prime, the hangout space by the beach so tranquil. And it’s really great value for the price. Highly recommend booking and using them to organize all your time in Tortuguero"
