"I have stayed at this hotel many times. I had never been disappointed. Close to the train station and a short walk to all the sights. "

"This hotel was selected for a number of reasons. Firstly its location then facilities and finally price. It delivers on location but that’s it I’m afraid. The hotel is not very big and has a 24 hour reception although the one time we needed to contact them they never answered the phone! Forget room service because they obviously don’t have any. You can’t even get a bottle of water. It is advertised as having a bar and also mini bars in the rooms. This is a real joke because it has neither. The bar is an empty space in a room near reception and the rooms only have a tiny fridge. Other issues we and people in our group experienced : Room keys continually failing to open the door. Other people had the same problem. No hot water for showers on so many occasions that I got the manager to move us to another room. Listening in on conversations I conclude this is a widespread problem as well. The final straw was when they said the electricity would be switched off from 10pm to 6am! No heating, lighting or lifts. This made the hotel very unsafe to be in and we should have been moved out. The authorities need to be informed of this. Noise levels at night are unacceptable. They have groups of schoolchildren staying and noisy people from bars outside. Sleep is optional here. The rooms are dated and while clean feel like a prison cell. The breakfast might be ok but I wouldn’t advise anyone to book here. "

"Great location! Room clean did not occur till after 4pm (too late!) so we were there taking afternoon breaks and didn’t want the interruptions. Rooftop cocktails were really nice albeit pricey (18 euro for a Mojito!!). "

"A great hotel! Would gladly stay here again. From the friendly staff that greets you , to the clean rooms. I recommend getting the breakfast with your stay such a vast selection! Also prime location. 20 minute walk to a lot of popular spots such as Trevi Fountain."

"Excellent staff and service. Property is in a great location. Walking distance to many of the famous sites and landmarks, street restaurants,etc. would stay there again!"

"We loved this little hotel. It was tight in the middle of the ancient city I think it’s called. We could walk everywhere we needed to go. It was in the middle of all the little alleys with their shops and street cafes. So charming. The stag was welcoming and very helpful. There were bakery’s and food just outside the door or around the corner and apparently the best tiramisu just at the corner! We loved our stay - but there is no elevator so if stairs are an issue request a lower floor. We were on the 3rd floor. The last bit was a hike for sure! But we are old. "

"Excellent hotel in all aspects, with a great location. Little bit of construction work going on whilst we were there but it wasn’t really an issue, just sometimes the elevator took a bit longer. Definitely would stay there again. "
