Sie gibt Tipps, hilft bei der Tagesplanung. Die Verständigung klappt auf Englisch. Der Blick aus meinem Zimmer (2. OG) und von der Frühstücks-Terrasse ging bis auf die Nossa Senhora dos Remédios/über den Ort. Zentrumsnah, kostenloses Parken nach 19: 00 h und auf großem Parplatz in der Nähe. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar.」

「Its a great experience living in the barrel. Every customer staying there include one wine tasting tour, understand more about Port wine. However, moving there or other spots might possibly need to drive. No public transport reaching the area.」

「The city of Armamar is quite sleepy and small. For us, this location was wonderfully convenient for the wineries we were visiting. But if you are hoping to walk around at night for night life, this may not be the town for you. The PINTA boutique hotel was beautifully decorated and in great condition. The staff was also communicative, and there is a small but convenient free parking light just behind the property. My husband actually took a job interview (via Zoom) from the common area/breakfast...

「This trip just keeps getting better and better! This is NOT a hotel. It is more a resort guest house. Complete luxury with a setting in the hill/mountains of the Douro valley that is right out of movie setting. Friendly helpful staff always eager to help. The room was luxurious, the included breakfast was just out of this world. Off season prices made this incredible place even better! The only reason I gave it 5 starts was because 6-7-8 were not available!」
