The park contains more than 1,100 species of plants and many animals. Spot the endangered fairy pitta, with its brightly colored feathers, as it nests in its camellia habitat. Travel from the city by ferry to the island of Hansando inside the park.

It is a Korean style of sushi made of seaweed, rice and squid in a spicy sauce. Tongyeong was once named Chungmu.
