We were traveling with our teenager and booked the “standard twin” which was a little tight so I’d recommend going with the next room up. (It would probably be ok for a small child). Loved the spa though it would be nice if they provided an extra towel. Enough space in the room to sprawl around. We grab Jenga and Uno from the common area after a long day for sightseeing. Love that you could grab few umbrellas they had plenty, since it was June(rainy season). Bike rentals to cruise around town was a nice touch. The breakfast was great, being able to take it up to the room and eat at our leisure was phenomenal. "Our stay at Shiomachi Roya in Tomonoura was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. I was impressed by the renovations done to turn this old merchant house into an inn. I liked the design and decor. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Because this particular house (Roya) has only 4 rooms to stay in, the staff are located at another sister inn literally just around the corner, one minute away. Everything you need is within walking distance in this small town. Staying here enhanced...

"今回で2回目の利用となります。しまなみ海道サイクリングのスタート地点として立地が非常に便利なので、今回もこちらを選びました。
スタッフの皆 様は大変親切で、丁寧に対応していただき、とても心地よく過ごすことができました。お部屋にダイソンのドライヤーが備え付けられていたのには感動しましたし、ウェルカムギフトのお菓子とゼリーも嬉しかったです。また、朝食ビュッフェも素晴らしく、朝から元気をチャージできました。
また尾道に来る際は、ぜひ利用させていただきたいと思います。ありがとうございました。"

"This hotel is located about 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walking to the train station and shopping area. The room was decent size and very clean but the layout was a little odd. There was a tv but not really angled to watch it from the bed or the seating area. The bathroom was very small with a weird step up and raised threshhold at the bathroom doorway and a small deep bathtub typical of Japanese business hotels. We arrived for breakfast at about 8:45. Breakfast was not great as a hybrid set...
