「Wonderful host , food amazing Truly first class in every way ! 」

「Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. 「My family booked a premium room at a wellness spa. This is not what we experienced. Access to the room was via a narrow staircase into the loft. No hand rails. Narrow steps. Basic health and safety issue. The room felt like a half converted loft. Curtains simply hid what was basically an area of junk. The bunk bed for the kids has a large spike just above it. If a child where to sit up quickly i they would put a hole in their head. The one loft window in the room is low down and...

「ホテルに行くまでの道路の舗装状態の悪さと、町自体もそうだが、衰退していくような古さがあり、ホテルの外観もその町に溶け込んでいるようで、失敗したかなと思ったら、内装はシンプル、モダンで、部屋のシャワールーム他、とっても最新のもので、朝食も種類は多くないけど、とっても美味しくて、レストランもとっても素敵でした。スタッフ(オ−ナ−)の方も、拙い私の英語に対して、とっても親切に対応してくださりました。 まあ、帰りは、駅まで、大した距離ではありませんが、行きに苦労したので、車を頼みました。 ペリダイザ動物園に行くのに前泊するなら、お勧めです。」

「Mooi hotel. We hadden t geboekt omdat we een dagje naar Pairi Daiza gingen, dat is ca 20 minuten rijden. Parkeren was gratis en voor de deur. Ontbijt was goed uitgebreid, alleen de aanvulling liet wat te wensen over. Voor een schappelijke prijs kun je daar ook avond eten, dat was goed verzorgd ook. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.」
