Pros: freezing AC, very comfortable bed and room, very clean room and premises, central location Cons: long delays for responses from property owner, no way to reach them. Parking is extremely challenging. By the time the owner responded we had already found El Miradero parking garage, which is the most convenient but two flights of stairs and 2 blocks away. The parking options should have been provided prior to arrival. Only received restaurant recommendations (2) because we asked. Other locations leave a list of options in the room, with 2 waters, which is greatly appreciated after a long trip.

We had some difficulty getting into the hotel since our code didn't work, but the staff was very quick to help us. The lobby feels like a small garden in the middle of the city.

The hotel is beautiful inside and very cozy. I liked it a lot in that sense. However, there was a pit smell in the reception area which was not comfortable. Additionally, you can hear other guests through the walls. Overall it was a good experience because the hotel looks really nice. However, I would explore other options next time.

Amazing place!

We were amazed about this place. Our room was perhaps the most beautiful one we had during on our two weeks roundtrip. Be sure to check in before you come, though. There is no staff, and we were lucky that another guest was there to let us into the hall, so we could register inside and not on the street with all our belongings. Great locations - huge value for the money!

It’s a very nice place room was nice. Coffee maker would’ve made it better unfortunately there is no sound proofing and you hear your next-door guest talking,baby crying so if you’re light sleeper, beware.

Beautifully renovated old building in the the old town but in a quiet part. Loved the restoration work with attention to detail highlighting the original structure, the interior courtyard. It was possible to see the old well through the stairs. Loved the lighting design, the shower, the balcony. It was really warm, cozy and quiet. We had the option to have breakfast right there but we had breakfast at another spot down the road. Perfect location to explore the city. parking nearby.

Check-in was awful. We were panicked we were going to be sleeping on the street for a while because we couldn’t get anyone from the hotel to help us access their overly complicated code door systems.

another if these places with no receptionist but key card admission via whatsapp, not so easy standing in the rain trying to get your mobile to work. No towel rails in the bathroom, a definite minus. Outside door had to be forced shut, which some other guests didn't bother to do, another minus.

Although the place is really as beautiful as it appears on the photos and my room was confortable and clean -as expected-, the walls are SO thin one can hear absolutely EVERYTHING from the adjacent rooms (curiously not so much from the corridors). My neighbours must have been a young passionate couple that kept me awake until past 4 am, even with noise cancelling headphones. To complete the experience, the building’s front door’s code pad was broken in the morning so I couldn’t get back to my room after breakfast (there is no restaurant nor reception in the building). I guess I was unlucky.

It's a short-ish walk from the train station and I chose the hostel for being in a quieter part of town. It certainly was that. Loved the plants! Just down the hill is a small bar and a small grocery store which you'll have all to yourself if you want it. Just up the hill is the steps to the 10th century convent and you're into the Casco histórico. Behind the hostel is a nice self contained neighborhood which includes at least one park where families sit or hang out and play. The staff-less thing takes a minute to get used to. But when I needed to extend my stay, twice, they were super prompt and easy to work with. If you are renting a car there is free monitored parking a short 10 minute walk away where you can leave the car overnight or during the day for free which tons of locals obviously use. They send the front door code in advance, so if you don't have data in Spain you might want to write it down, although they also seems the wifi password in advance so even if you don't have data in Spain, you can access the wifi outside the front door. Great base for an extended stay in Toledo!
