it’s located very close to the station and it was very easy to find, the pods were clean but one of the showers i ended up using wasn’t super clean, honestly would probably come back
Pretty good overall. The washrooms and shower areas could use a deep clean, and the sleeping area can be noisy, but that's to be expected with this kind of hotel. The location is very convenient and we liked the cafe/common area with the free drinks and a nice view.
First time in a pod hotel and went well. Reminded me of a grown up youth hostel. Place was clean, tidy and seemed well ru. The pods were basic but quite large. Good size storage lockers. Guys shuttered with free shampoo etc. Free pyjamas. Free tea and coffee upstairs. Right in Korea town so loads of all night mini markets and food and 5 minute walk to station.
It's not the most practical place since sleep, shower and front desk across 3 floors so you have to access the lift all the time and then other lift to the exit on gf
It's 1/5 the cost of a hotel.
Would stay again.
Good for the price and experience of capsule hotel. I would come again for one or two night stay. It's fun eating out own meal at the recreation area. We had city view that would costs a lot in a restaurant. Lot of young people. But they were respectful.
Everything was of great service. The staff were helpful in my language (English) kind. It was clean. It was well organized. Showers were amazing. Big rooms for it. It just made a lot of sense and I wish more hostels worked and had it this way. Just overall a good experience I’d book here again anyday.
A fantastic location, great price, very nice cafe facility and everything you need for a cheap Tokyo stay... just one comment was that the capsule sleeping area was too hot!
Shin Okubo is the Korean town so the area is sleepless. 1 minute walking to train station, convenience store, shops, restaurants,.. Cabin is big enough for anyone <1.8m, and it is very clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. View is good from the cafeteria.
This is a really great area to explore Shinjuku from. For the price I think it's a great place to stay. I really liked the lounge area with free coffee and juices. The pods themselves were fine, but if you haven't stayed in one before I recommend ear plugs. The only slight negative was that some of the showers weren't great. There isn't a lot of ventilation in them and some were too hot, or not hot enough.
I'd still recommend this place, for the price.
