I would not recommend this hotel for tourists. It is right across the street from the Olympic Stadium, so one would expect the area to have restaurants, shops, etc. Not at all. There is only one restaurant in the hotel and it is an Italian restaurant, not Japanese. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served there. The portions for dinner are small and the prices are very high compared to other restaurants all over Tokyo. One night 3 of us went down for a drink toward the end of dinner hours. All the seats at the bar were taken but there were at least 3 tables free. The staff was extremely rude and refused to seat us unless we committed to ordering food! Oh, and their "glass of wine" is more like 3 ounces, not the US standard 5 ounce pour. There is a small coffee shop about 10 minutes away, and that is it. There is a subway stop across the street, but if you want to walk, browse, eat or shop...nothing. No buses nearby either.
