Hotel JAL city is within walking distance of JR Aomori Station. There are other hotels in the same price range that are closer to the station. It normally wouldn’t be much of an issue, except when you encounter snowfall, like I did. But even so, the hotel is a fine establishment with an onsite restaurant that has a wonderful breakfast buffet.

The best hotel in Hirosaki.
Breakfast is good and YONAKI SOBA(Ramen) was awesome.
Onsen was amazing.
I will try to book the hotel next time

暖 房費節約で館内寒いのではと心配しましたが、お部屋や廊下、朝食会場などどこも暖かく過ごせて快適だった。朝食も美味しく頂きました。お米は、東北旅行で食べた中で一番美味しかったですし、そのお米のアイスがなんともクセになり美味しかったでさ。

Nice room and hotel, unusual smell from bathroom thoigh indicating some mold issues. Also the heating system is not able to keep the large suite warm during cold weather.
