"Room was clean staff were nice and breakfast was good. Now for the but… I booked the hotel specifically because of the hot tub but it wasn’t operational I stayed for 5 nights it wasn’t working the entire time. Not sure if it’s fixed yet or not but just a heads up for people booking if that’s a deal breaker for you. On our second night the low battery beeps began on our smoke detector in the middle of the night. I went down to front desk and the attendant came down and removed the detector for the night and it was replaced in the morning. I have a suggestion possibly put a battery change out on specific date before that happens for the entire hotel or sections that way you don’t make someone upset. It didn’t bother me I’m pretty easy going but if I had young children in the room or a person that had to get early the next day it would have been a problem. The coffee and cookies were nice in the afternoon. The location is perfect close to Walmart and some restaurants. I would stay there again. But"

"Our room was fabulous and in a great location. We had a fabulous large tub in our bathroom which was lovely. The room and grounds were clean. We had breakfast included with our stay which was great, however the food served was mediocre (our eggs were undercooked as were the home fries). We had dinner one night in the restaurant (Amelia’s Garden) which was very expensive and the food and service were not great. Would definitely stay again but would dine in the pub and be very particular about what we ordered for breakfast."

Jackson's Falls Country Inn

"The Jackson Falls Country Inn is certainly a country inn about 15 mins south of the main town of Picton. Although it’s not far from Milford, it’s not really in walking distance to anything, so you’ll need your car to go anywhere. It’s conveniently located to Sandbanks Provincial Park and Waupoos winery. The rooms were big. Unfortunately our bed was on the soft side, where we prefer a firm mattress due to back issues. The breakfasts were delicious and served between 9 and 11am, which we found a bit later than we prefer, and was an extra charge though reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful. The Inn uses a well for water so the tap water smells and tastes a bit of sulphur, but there are large bottle drinking water dispensers available. Parking is tight but manageable."

"Enjoyed our stay. Resto needs a bigger menu but pizzas excellent. Staff superb. Art exhibit is wonderful. Rooms very nice. Room 20 shower on off not working well and one jet leaking.. Breakfast was excellent. Wines all really good. Rose pinot is high end. Unoaked chardonnay and pinot gris very good. Cab franc fabulous. Thanks for everything."
