If you like to stay in a place furnished with antiques and stuffed animals and the musty smell of museum, you'll enjoy this hotel, it is authentic. There's no lift and we got a room in the attic, so it was a but difficult with the big suitcases, so check what room you get in advance. The grounds are stunning and location very central.

Our Host and Hostess were delightful. Our surroundings beautiful! Both the interior and exterior memorable! The yard and pool area landscaped beautifully. Breakfast, a selection of fresh fruits, fresh croissants, juice, yogurt, and coffee or tea. The views stunning! peaceful. My mattress dropped a bit from over use. We arrived in early Oct. so most business had shut down from the Fall. One restaurant was open for lunch and the castle wasn’t to open until Nov again. But lots of walking in nature opportunities! Yes, I am already planning my next visit back!

Staff lovely, but do not believe the photos

The gentleman who dealt with our arrival, was lovely. Helpful, kind and efficient. The property was a delight, with it's old fashioned charm and features. However, we booked a comfort double bedroom and after our stay, I went back onto the pictures of a comfort double and there was none of the bedroom we were given, which was so tight, they could not get a bedside stand on both sides of the bed! My husband, who is not big, could only walk sideways up between the bed and the wall. The bathroom was the same, to get into the shower, you had to go sideways between the wall and the shower entrance. We stayed at a different hotel the next night and it could not have been more different. The bedroom and toilet of this hotel, would have fitted easily into the bedroom at the next, with space left over and the second hotel was 10 euros cheaper. Our other problem, was that because of a medieval festival, that was on that weekend, all the roads around were closed. Which made it difficult to find the hotel by car, we ended up parking in an area near by and walking down to find the hotel. Then back up to get luggage etc. The next morning was no different, we had to go over the river, but all the roads in the town around the bridge, were blocked off. We had to go several miles out of town, to fin an alternative route. This made a very stressful start to our next journey.

Un site magnifique

Très agréable séjour et une très bonne surprise a l'arrivée lorsque l'on franchit la porte !! Les propriétaires sont très agréables et bien amicaux (toujours appréciable !). Une adresse que nous n'oublierons pas pour un prochain séjour dans le coin ! Le petit-déjeuner est d'excellente qualité !

Belle parenthèse !!!

Très bel accueil, gentillesse assurée, literie très confortable, calme, piscine très agréable, joli manoir au coeur d'un petit village très mignon où l'on peut tout faire à pied. Un petit coin fraicheur dans la chambre pour les boissons serait un réel plus. Merci pour ce séjour.

Hôtel agréable

Séjour agréable dans cette commune calme. L'hôtel est bien placé par rapport au puy du fou. Il est joli bien qu'un peu vieillot (moquette, toile tendue aux murs, abattant wc). Cela manque un peu d'entretien notamment concernant la robinetterie de la douche et le liner de la piscine. Les personnes sont agréables et le petit déjeuner est copieux et en buffet.

Chambre vestuste mais propre et surtout très mal isolé. On pouvait entendre les voisins parler dans la chambre d'à côté et les pas des voisins du dessus étaient insupportables

Bienvenue au Manoir

Maison ou plutôt manoir hors du temps pour une parenthèse originale et un accueil au top! Ma chambre était petite avec un confort moyen mais l’endroit et l’atmosphère valent le détour ! Petit déjeuner copieux qui pourrait être parfait si une machine espresso remplaçait le café cafetière …😊
