"Room is new, wooden floor, big enough to fit 2 big luggages. Shower water pressure and temperature is good, bed and pillow super comfy, duvet thick and warm. Aircon is cold, room is quiet, allows secure luggage storage with tag pre and post check out, nice local breakfast shop and a taiyang bing shop just downstairs. Walkable to taichung TRA in 5-8min. If u take Ubus from taipei airport, it just takes 2 hours to reach and 8-10min walk from drop off to hotel (ask bus counter for exact drop off stop). Most importantly, there’s a Kuo Kuang bus terminal 1min walk from hotel where u can take the bus to taipei (cheaper and more convenient than HSR), and also a bus shop just next to hotel to take bus to Feng Chia. For this price and location in taichung, Palmer is the best u can find!"

"On the site, it says they don’t have parking. However, it was not entirely right. It seems like they do but in the first come first serve situation. I almost didn‘t choose them because of it because I was visiting a friend and I wasn’t sure where i can park. Luckily my friend‘s house is near by and we parked there instead. I just thought if the site can mark a bit clearer, I wouldn’t hesitate to book the hotel. Overall, I had fun staying with them. The room is very similar as the one I stayed in Frankfurt. I guess it‘s the vibes this brand is trying to create. It’s nice and hip. The lobby is also good for friends gathering. "

"Really nice property. Would definitely come back here if I come back to Taichung. Walking distance to the Shennong Village and the Painted Animation lane but a bit far from other things. Didn’t help that the public holiday period meant that bus services were infrequent. But Uber/Taxis solved that. "

"Hotel was close to public transit. Friendly staff. Down fall is that the breakfast is at another hotel - wasnt too far away (5-7mins walk). Otherwise, would highly recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again."

"We had a lovely stay at the Lalu. The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff is impeccably service-oriented. It was the perfect place to stay at Sun Moon Lake for respite and taking in the beauty of the area."

"Location is relatively convenient to get to Taichung HSR station. One metro stop and about 10 mins or so walking. Not a great deal in the area. Hotel is relatively clean, though staff aren’t exactly amazing. It’s like they don’t really want to be there. Rooms are quite nice, though walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbours snoring at night. Breakfast there’s not really anything. Just had a congee option and some bread items and that’s about it. I doubt I would stay here again unless it was for a 1 night stopover."
