"The location of the cabins is great for visiting Sequoias. However although things worked in the cabin , it needs maintenance and bringing up to today’s visitors standards. The driveway has huge potholes which made pulling out onto the highway difficult. The bathroom needs an overhaul, old shower curtain, dingy shower stall and lime scale sink . All the appliances were clean and worked and the bedding and towels were clean and more supplied upon request by the pleasant manager Tim. The view of the river is very pleasant and the landscaping needed some tlc. See photos."
"I have stayed at Western Holiday Lodge in Three Rivers in the past without incident and found it to be a mediocre stay. However, that time I did not need to interact with the staff. This time, we arrived a day early and wanted to add an additional night to our stay. It took a very long time for them to check us in and regardless of us being there two nights, they set up our key cards to lock us out of our rooms on the morning of the second day. Even after explaining the situation, they made one of us leave our room entirely while they cleaned it, which was what we were trying to avoid by booking two nights at the same hotel. Upon our departure we forgot something and they left it outside where anyone could have taken it, rather than keeping it in the office as we requested. It was also like pulling teeth to get a receipt for the stay. It's a pretty mediocre place to begin with but the staff make it far worse."
"It’s building still under construction! No amenities. Room had a terrible smell. Bathroom was horrible. There is no way you can take shower. It’s insanely expensive without any amenities."
"Needed a close-by room, a soft bed, and a safe parking spot after a long day of hiking in Sequoia. Got that covered. Aside from that, room was basic, couple of misses were: only bath towels in room (no hand nor mat, which made bathroom floor very slippy), only one hand soap (so either sink or shower was lacking), and two remotes in room w/ no instruction meant confusion. But, served its purpose!"
"Super unique accommodation - sadly had to cut my stay short given that i forgot my dogs medication but i plan to rebook! The tent stay was fabulous and nothing like the sound of a rushing river to put you to sleep! Just a really special nature-driven stay!"
