「After an issue with VRBO, we were given this hotel as an alternative accommodation. It was extremely expensive for what is essentially a very cheap, outdated, and poorly maintained hotel. We were given a room for four people with two small beds, and we could barely sleep. All we wanted was to get through the night and leave as quickly as possible. 「Excellent hostel! I stayed in the Court - I’m a light sleeper and even with earplugs, I woke often as people were coming and going at all hours of the night. Disturbances would likely be less in the other rooms. The facilities, social aspect of the hostel and the staff were top notch! They have activities each day to connect you with others. As a solo traveller, it was incredible and more reason to stay in a hostel. Price was great for Edinburgh and the location cannot be beat!」

「The room was beautiful, the bathroom was luxurious and clean. The staff particularly Debbie was very welcoming and friendly, just perfect for who you’d want as front of house staff. The breakfast had a great variety whether you wanted hot or cold food just help yourself! Tea and coffee was served to you making it feel more personal. The gardens were immaculate, the gardener clearly puts a lot of time and effort into it. There was good parking accessible and easy to everyone.」
