「The staff were decent and I liked the chalet like rooms for number of people we had in the group. Each chalet had a king bed and a twin bed. That part was great. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest nor the towels. The hot water took an hour to come through the shower and one of the rooms wouldn’t drain water (they did accommodate to shower in another room). 「We stayed at Hotels Umaiyyal Home Stay for 3 nights. The rooms are very good and spacious. They were tidy and well-maintained. However, during our stay, the lifts were not operational. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor, so we had to use the stairs for two days. The staff here is not proactive; they wait until we complain, and follow-up is required. 「The staff at the hotel were very helpful & tried to attend to all our wishes when we requested anything. They did go out of their way to help however the hotel was in a state of total refurbishment with hammering noises from very early on on the morning we were there. The room itself had no toiletries, shelving to store items or tea/coffee making facilities or hairdryer which has been standard in other hotels. The shower facilities were very basic. There was no sea view!」
