「The staff were decent and I liked the chalet like rooms for number of people we had in the group. Each chalet had a king bed and a twin bed. That part was great. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest nor the towels. The hot water took an hour to come through the shower and one of the rooms wouldn’t drain water (they did accommodate to shower in another room). 「We stayed at Hotels Umaiyyal Home Stay for 3 nights. The rooms are very good and spacious. They were tidy and well-maintained. However, during our stay, the lifts were not operational. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor, so we had to use the stairs for two days. The staff here is not proactive; they wait until we complain, and follow-up is required. 「This is a very charming, older hotel that is walking distance close to the Devi Kanyakumari and surrounding temples. It sits right on the beachfront with a beautiful ocean views from high on the top floor and in the dining room. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.」

「Lobby staff, security, and room service staff were cordial and took prompt care of our needs. The amenities in our room and the cleanliness of the restroom was at par with our expectations. 「I stayed at Sahana Castle three times this year and my stay was always convenient and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are nice, and the food at the Chettinad restaurant is great. It's also located opposite to the bus terminal which makes it easy for reaching other places. 」
