"Interesting finding how the light system worked with key card. Property beautiful, Food excellent. Low on amenities in the bathroom but that was okay. Just need to be prepared. Will hopefully be able to go back and enjoy the property and the location"

"The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. The villa was beautiful and kept clean and up-to-date. Everything in the unit worked. The food was delicious albeit different from standard fair. The horseback riding tour was the best value for the money at the resort for things to do. The only thing I had trouble finding a chair that was comfortable the living room furniture was pretty, but very hard to sit on. While the food was delicious, the portion sizes for the prices were on the high side. The Seafood pasta did not come with any pasta and only a few pieces of seafood. A bottle of Heineken for $11 was the highest I have paid for one at any resort in Belize even on the Cayes."

"It is unusual for a place to live up to all the praise heaped upon it, and yet The Sleeping Giant very much did. I visited with my wife and children and we all had a remarkable time. Lovely amenities, delicious cuisine, warm staff… we just left the country and when asked what their favorite part of our 5 week trip was my children immediately said The Sleeping Giant and asked when we could go back. That’s as ringing an endorsement as any, and we wholeheartedly agree. Can’t wait to go back!"

"Notre séjour au Mariposa était fantastique! C’est un bel endroit central en nature pour se reposer et faire des activités. Le personnel est gentil et courtois. Nous avons eu un excellent service de la part de Leo et Robin, beaucoup de conseils pour se divertir dans la région. Je trouve toutefois que l’imposition du 15% de service à chaque achat dans le longe est un peu exagéré. Je comprends l’intention d’une paie équitable, mais on ne devrait pas imposer un pourcentage aux clients selon moi."

"Our stay at Jaguar Creek in Belize was absolutely exceptional. The property is beautifully nestled in the heart of lush tropical jungle, creating a peaceful and immersive experience surrounded by nature. One of the highlights was the crystal-clear river that runs through the property, where we enjoyed relaxing tubing right from the resort. The staff made our stay even more memorable. Everyone—from the front desk to the full-service dining and bar team—was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The food and drinks were excellent, and the hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect for exploring Belize's incredible natural beauty. It's conveniently close to Belmopan and Cayo, with easy access to attractions like the Blue Hole National Park. There are countless opportunities for hiking, kayaking, tubing, and other outdoor adventures, making it an ideal destination for both relaxation and exploration. If you're looking for a place that combines stunning jungle scenery, exceptional service, and easy access to some of Belize's best adventures, Jaguar Creek is a fantastic choice. We can't wait to return."

"I had the pleasure of staying at the Mystic River Resort in Early June and the whole experience has made me fall in love with Belize. The property is immaculately maintained and incredibly clean, my room was upgraded free of charge which included a plunge pool on the balcony which definitely added to the experience !. The property overlooks the Macal river which adds an ethereal vibe to the whole experience and is surrounded by a myriad of varying wildlife. The staff really re-defined amazing hospitality for me, they were both kind and always went the extra mile whenever required no ask was too big or too small and they are true credit to the establishment, service was always presented with a smile and their was no forceful upselling and everything was done in a kind and appreciative manner. The food was also something out of this world with a selection of Belizean, American and both Mayan and Garifuna food available. The excursions on offer were also varied and exciting and health and safety was always prioritized and they were easy to book onto. I truly miss seeing the humming birds at breakfast flying in and out of the restaurant and the sound of the river and the toucans in the evening. Overall it has re-defined what true hospitality and experience means to me and have thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience so much so I cannot wait to return !."
