「Julie on Reception was Brilliant! Polite, professional, helpful and funny. The walls of room 101 are a bit thin! We heard people talking and their morning alarm! We didn’t know we’d have to pay £10 EACH to use the pool!! For 90 minutes.」

「The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham. We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills. Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus. We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.」

「We loved the property and the room was excellent. The only issue was the lift was out of working order. We would definitely stay again. 」

「Lovely place, really friendly and helpful staff. Close to all local amenities and sea front only a five minute walk away. The bathroom was a tad compact but it was clean and did the job. From what I could see it appeared to be the only one in the area that had any parking too which was a huge bonus. The only downside really was the WiFi was a tad slow. Other than that overall cannot fault anything else. Would happily stay again. 」

「We stayed here as a base for a family wedding, using 5 rooms. Everyone said how good the pub was and the rooms were lovely and quiet. My husband and I had a meal on the night of arrival which was excellent. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. It was nice to have plenty of tea bags and milk cartons in the room instead of the usual 2. Very comfortable bed. Can’t fault it at all. Would definitely recommend over the nearby garner hotel as we dropped someone off there and it stank....

「The Leicester was everything a person could hope for and more! Cliff was an amazing host and provided great dining recommendations! Breakfast was amazing and the guest house menu was extremely varied and all delicious. The room was very comfortable and clean. The absolute perfect location as well.」
