"We booked this motel because of the price and being right off the freeway. It is an older motel and is definitely rundown in a lot of ways (for example, the sofa in our room was a hide-a-bed and it was in such bad shape we couldn't sit on it). They also need to close the bathroom door when cleaning as it was clear that the floor behind the door hadn't been cleaned in some time. All that being said, the bed was comfortable (it's on the firm side, but I like that), they actually use cotton sheets (not those horrible polyester sheets that are like sleeping in a plastic bag), the water pressure was good, and there was ample parking. It's not the best area, but it didn't feel dangerous. The staff was also very nice. The breakfast was just waffles and some breads, there were no protein options at all, so if you are looking for something that will stick with you, you'll need to go out. Overall, for the price, it was a good stay."

"I booked a double room with a tub - was told at check in they didnt have that room type - found out on day two that was a lie - was charged for parking even though it said that parking was free - dinner each night had a guy serving food with long long hair and no hair net gross - oh and he was a very grumpy guy also - food kept running out - drinks in the evening had to stand in line to get one for 15-20 minutes each night "

"Excellent downtown location, within walking distance of the Historic Haymarket and UNL campus. We had an excellent view of the stadium. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the pillows were fluffy. We loved the retro decor and the Warren Buffett quotes!"

"I cannot review this hotel as we never stayed there. Hard to find the hotel when there is not a sign outside. Upon check-in we were told that Expedia over booked around 40 people. So we did not have a room. We were not able to find a room as we were in town for a concert and they were booked. The only positive was I got a full refund after talking to Expedia. "
