"The room wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped for a Novotel. So much dust everywhere. No water in the room only to find out you need to collect a bottle and fill it near the reception. Only noticed when it was after midnight. Why having a fridge in the room and no water or drinks in it. The sink in the bathroom smelled of sewage. Pool area and general area looked ok. Ed was a double and made a lot of noise when turning. Not great. "

"Lovely hotel, beautiful park behind it was lovely for walking in even though the weather was not good. Hotel is beautiful, the interior is stunning. Our room (we had a suite) was lovely. Food was good in the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a casino next door and a water park next to that. Our only gripe was the pillows on the beds. You had one large and one small one each and they were way too soft. "

Ugly combinations of paint colours rather roughly painted onto woodchip-style wall finishing wallpaper. "The cathedral view of this property is amazing. In general, the hotel is great - everything functioned, staff was helpful, rooms are really nice. We stayed in the annex, which was slightly less convenient (not a huge deal, though). And it took several hours to get a roll-away bed for our daughter. There is no shower curtain/glass on the bathtub, which makes it really hard to not make a mess. And there was a glass recycling facility right outside our room (not the hotel's fault, obviously),...
