「Beautiful room and en-suite in a lodge with four others, tucked away at the back of the garden. Very comfortable. Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy.」

「The actual hotel was clean and staff were great. However the restaurant experience was very bad. We were told half the meals on the menu were not available, plus the draught beer was also not available. I ordered fish and chips, which when arrived the fish was hard as a rock and definitely not fresh. They got me another one but that too wasn’t very good either.
