"Our company has used this hotel at least 15 times over the past 18 months and have never had cause to complain, however, during the latest stay, it sounded as though an all night party was going on upstairs with smoke alarms constantly ringing and noise so loud it sounded like a raid! Our team members are located here ready for training courses in the morning so they are bright and fresh. This latest stay did not offer this at all. He didn't get to sleep until 04.30am. When my colleague brought this to the attention of the manager, they were not very helpful, understanding or apologetic. Sadly this will now make us think twice about using this provider in the future. "

"Dated room, looking very tired and dirty. Only decent rooms are the ones newly refurbished (and even those are partly refurbished, the shower head, doors etc are old). Rooms are only superficially cleaned, if you open curtains or look at the tv cable or boardings they are covered in filth. Food at breakfast was burnt and the restaurant food was well below and decent pub average. Sauna did not work, only steam room did. Only decent thing is the pleasantly warm swimming pool but even this did need better cleaning, there were hair all the floor. Lastly, except one gentleman at the reception the other team members were not pleasant or polite. "

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening. Rocky had a fabulous holiday as well. A nice place to stay and relax for a few days. "

"In peaceful countryside. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and kind, made us feel very welcome. Beautiful rooms that were really spacious and spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Having the pool made our stay extra special. If I’m In the area again would definitely choose to stay here"

"Lovely house, super clean and comfortable. Kitchen really well equipped, everything needed for a stay, milk and orange juice in the fridge on arrival. Perfect for our dog, Freddie, too. Wish we could have stayed longer! "
