"Marriott property was lovely but unfortunately we came home and found out we contracted a bacterial infection common with traveling. Typically picked up through water or food. Would consider the Marriott not tell guests water is always safe. Maybe consider giving each guest in the room a bottle of water at 500ml instead of 3 smaller bottles. Found it strange that are room had four guest but only received 3 bottles. Finally would recommend not having water stations filled with cut fruit. Looks nice but fruit contaminated in the kitchen or not washed properly could be an issue. Property was nice but will not be returning to Aruba. The same issues exist here as do at other islands but pay a hefty premium for the location. "

"The most beautiful views ever and right in the middle of everything which makes it very convenient to shop, eat/drinks, beach fun and/or travel. Staff is very friendly. Even the pool area is amazing and everything is super clean. "

"overall great experience ! The front desk people were always very helpful . Jonathan who responded to my email questions promptly was wonderful and one of the reasons I decided to come . Priscilla who came around the pool to chat was great. Housekeeping could not have been better . Pool bar tenders were great . Half price happy hour was fantastic. Good very good except for tacos which were in some garlicky ranch . One issue which all hotels are challenged is chairs by beach area. Always brings the worst out in people and no exception here. People come super early to stake out palapas. the vendor next to us was given one of the hotels palapa no idea why but that’s one in 6. zits a small area I get it but perhaps more umbrellas can be placed. Or maybe hand out some daily umbrellas with safe anchors because if the wind. It was very frustrating daily . If that could be solved so would give a 10 out of ten. The kit getter was great but perhaps a hot plate could be given to cook vs just microwave, "

"The place is ok, clean. The cleaning service was good. Some of the employees and servers were nice and friendly. As adults traveling with no kids, there are not many amenities. The gym was small with a few machines, some of them were broken. The pools were not big and always full of young children, I couldn’t use the pools but even once. Not worth to get all inclusive; it’s expensive, you have to make reservations in advance for dinner in the restaurants, and food was good but not variety. Love Aruba, buy I don’t think I would go back to the same hotel. if I do, I wouldn’t get the all inclusive. "

"Would rate the stay 3/5 stars. The property is clean and so are the rooms, staff was friendly and willing to assist. The downside is that before you could view the ocean you have to get past the parking lots, construction to the right, high traffic to the left and a casino up front. Not exactly a relaxing time on the balcony or sweeping views of the ocean. The beach is also poorly organized. It’s a five minute walk and they do provide the shuttle however the umbrellas and beach chairs are limited and you have to be up super early to get the front row otherwise you will be stuck with a view of other beach goers. This is also the only hotel that has their umbrellas slanted and you are not allowed to move them so you can’t really move around with the shade. We ended up taxiing to other local beaches just so we can enjoy our days in the sun also paying for taxis and beach chair and umbrellas so this was a big negative. If you like to sleep in a little later this is a problem. Getting taxis mid day is another issue they do have them but you will be waiting a while so the only solution is to get up super early and start your day which is what we had to do. Will consider ocean front hotel or an Airbnb if I was to make another trip "

"The staff at the front desk and the pool/towels area were RUDE. Seem to forget who is paying for the stays and HOW MUCH we are paying as guests. It is evident there is NO CARE for Customer Satisfaction. The Bar Tenders were ALL good and polite. Also - the noise at night from the neighboring properties is BAD and there is no warning given to the guests."
