「It's an old fashioned hotel. If you feel physically limited be sure to tell them in advance; my room required stairs as the lift did not reach that level. The bathroom was fully modern. The breakfast was excellent, with kitchen orders as well as buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bar has live entertainment. The ground are spectacular, with a view of the river and falls.」

「We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. 「This is the best place I've ever stayed. I cannot fault them in any way whatsoever. The friendliness of staff, cleanliness, comfort, food, breakfast and the bar are all excellent. The only thing is the portions for evening meals. One meal would do 2 people. This was my second stay there this year and I will certainly be back again God willing. Nothing is too much in this hotel. Staff very attentive and accommodating. Best place ever to stay in. 」
